My Mom's favorite caliber is the 256 Win Magnum hands down. One thing I don't like about this weapon is that it takes a little time before it actually fires a 256 Win Magnum round. I got my Marlin 256 Win Magnum at the Wiley Outdoor Sports in St. Helen. There is a new edition of my new Marlin 444 with the elk ridge laminated chambered in 458 Win Magnum and 256 Win Magnum.
